The basic filters on this screen
are as follows:
1) High first number or low last number
- defined as 1/2 the number of balls.
Example: For Florida's 6/49 Lotto
you should not have a first number
25 or above, or a last number 25
or below.
2) Lows sums or high sums - defined as
44% below the mean average sum.
3) Minimum gap greater than 3 - in the
Florida lotto 96% of the drawings
have a minimum gap of 3 or less.
4) Large gaps - defined as any gap
that is as large as 1/2 the
number of balls.
5) Low spreads - defined as 36% of
the number of balls.
6) All even number or all odd numbers
7) Sums that are the same as the last
draw - in the Florida Lotto 100% of
the drawings have a sum different
than the last drawing.
8) The sums of the multiplication of
the digits, if the same as the last
draw. This is pretty exotic, but
it seems to work about 92% of the
time.
